Don Ross

Don Ross brings decades of executive leadership, financial expertise, and strategic business experience to the PH Development Group Board of Directors. Throughout his career, he has worked with business owners and organizations to strengthen financial performance, develop long-term strategies, and navigate complex operational challenges. Since 2009, Don has specialized in business brokerage, helping owners successfully transition and grow their businesses.

Prior to his work in business brokerage, Don served as a contract Chief Financial Officer for several retail organizations, where he focused on forensic accounting, budgeting, market strategy, and profitability. His diverse career also includes ownership and operation of multiple retail businesses, including farm and industrial equipment dealerships, a chain of stationery and gift stores, and a direct marketing catalog company. Earlier in his career, he served as Regional Marketing and Sales Director for the Legal Publishing Division of McGraw-Hill and provided marketing consulting services for a venue management group during the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.

As a member of the PH Development Group Board, Don contributes valuable insight in financial oversight, strategic planning, governance, and organizational sustainability. His broad business background and entrepreneurial perspective support the organization’s mission to develop and preserve affordable housing that strengthens communities and improves lives.

Outside of his professional work, Don enjoys reading, traveling, staying active, and spending time with his wife, Michele, and family.
